Here’s what I like about the book.  It’s positive and encouraging. It has a six-week study curriculum that can be used by deacon wives in a church.  It’s full of practical, usable tips for ongoing opportunities for deacon wives to make a difference in the church. I take 1 Timothy 3:11 and challenge the deacon wife to love the ministry that God has set aside for her.

As a pastor’s wife, I served alongside deacon wives–in a church with two deacons, forty deacons and a church with one hundred deacons.  It doesn’t matter the size church; the value of deacons and their wives as servants and pacesetters in the church is immense.  I think this book will encourage any deacon’s wife to love her life, her husband, her church and her God even more.
