This is one busy woman, with a life focus on serving God and encouraging His work. 

Diana writes a regular column for Let’s Worship magazine and Deacon Magazine. Her “Fresh Ideas” articles are published regularly in the Indiana Baptist Monthly, South Carolina Courier, The Illinois Baptist, and ten other state and national Baptist publications. They have been featured in Rick Warren’s Pastors.Com and LifeWay’s Pastors Today, Facts and Trends magazine, On Mission Magazine.

Her first book, Fresh Ideas — 1000 Ways to Grow a Thriving and Energetic Church (B&H Publishing 2007), is in its third printing. Several state conventions and denominations have ordered the book for their church planters, ministers’ wives or church growth seminars.

Her newest book, Fresh Ideas for Women’s Ministry, was released in June, and is available at Christian bookstores, amazon.com, lifeway.com,christianbooks.com, etc. Diana will lead upcoming conferences about the book for state events in Ohio and Florida and at the WMU national conference in Indianapolis. AND her book for deacon wives is scheduled to release in 2009.

She is a women’s ministry consultant for the State Convention of Baptists and a popular conference leader for women’s events and conferences for women’s ministry leaders, pastors’ and deacons’ wives. Her extensive experience in organizing and leading her church’s women’s ministry resulted in major success, both in enrollment and impact on church growth.

Diana is a popular speaker a women’s conferences, with a special interest in encouraging pastor wives, deacon wives and women’s ministries. She has led national conferences at Ridgecrest SC and Glorietta NM, state-wide conferences in South Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, Michigan, Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, as well as women’s events in Mexico, Ukraine, Kentucky and Hawaii. In February she traveled to Cuba for a mission trip.

Her hometown is Fort Worth, Texas – “Cowtown USA.” Born the oldest of four children, she’s always loved writing and coming up with ideas. Her father was a deacon, and both parents were vitally involved in their church’s ministry. She became a Christian as a young girl, and enjoyed involvement in their local church.

Diana graduated from Dallas Baptist University, where she met her husband, Steve. They have served as pastor and wife in Texas churches—a new church plant, a medium sized church and a large church—before moving to Indiana, where he serves as the Baptist convention’s executive director. She travels with Steve throughout Indiana, encouraging the state’s 430 SBC churches. 

When she’s is not writing or traveling, Diana relishes a good book on her condo rooftop, strolls around downtown Indy, and spending time with family and friends. She is also working to complete her master’s degree in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Her three adult children live in Texas, Ohio and England.
