Dear Friends –
So you’re considering beginning or improving a women’s ministry at your church? You’ve got the right book, sister!
This book is sort of like a diving board. It will give you spring and direction to get off the ground. It’s chock-full of useful ideas that will help organize and focus and freshen your women’s ministry program. Thirteen sequential chapters discuss everything from getting started to year-end evaluations.
Within these pages, you’ll find organizational charts, tips, checklists and job descriptions that may be tweaked to fit your unique church. You’ll discover oodles of fresh ideas you can use, whether yours is a mega- or a mini-church, whether you want a weekly or monthly program, whether you’re an experienced women’s ministry leader or a newcomer.
I think you’ll enjoy my ongoing story of helping begin and implement a vibrant, effective, upward- and outward-focused women’s ministry program in two churches. Most importantly, you’ll be challenged to create a women’s ministry that will honor your God, influence women’s lives, enhance your church growth and impact your community and your world.
So here’s my challenge to you, dear friend: Read every word of the book, select the portions that fit your church, and do it! Don’t just study about women’s ministry or dabble in it or dream about it. Add “ministry” to your women’s ministry. Seek God’s direction and begin or improve your church’s women’s ministry this year.
Can you tell that I’m passionate about women’s ministry? I hope you love my book. I’m praying for you as you embark on an exciting adventure.
Keep on shining!
